WaterRower Walnut Rowing Machine with S4 Monitor at FitnessZone

FitnessZone Is an Authorized WaterRower Dealer Nationwide!

The WaterRower Walnut Rowing Machine with S4 Monitor combines premium American Black Walnut craftsmanship with WaterRower’s signature water-resistance system for a smooth, quiet, and natural indoor rowing experience. Designed for home gyms, wellness spaces, boutique studios, hotels, corporate fitness centers, and upscale commercial facilities, the WaterRower Walnut offers both high-end performance and distinctive furniture-quality styling.

Each WaterRower Walnut is constructed from American Black Walnut, a premium hardwood known for its rich chocolate-brown coloring, natural grain variation, dimensional stability, and sound-absorbing properties. No two machines look exactly alike. Natural tones can include subtle hints of gray, red, and purple, giving every rower a unique appearance.

The wood is hand-finished with three coats of Danish oil, helping enhance the depth, warmth, and character of the walnut while protecting the frame for long-term use.

Premium American Black Walnut Construction

Walnut is an excellent material for rowing machine construction because it naturally helps absorb sound and vibration. This contributes to the smooth and quiet operation that WaterRower is known for.

The hardwood frame also offers excellent strength and longevity while maintaining a refined appearance suitable for:

• Home gyms
• Luxury fitness rooms
• Hotels and resorts
• Apartment and condominium fitness centers
• Corporate wellness facilities
• Boutique training studios
• Personal training spaces
• Commercial fitness environments

WaterRower also sources wood from replenishable forests, supporting a more responsible approach to hardwood manufacturing.

Natural Water Resistance with WaterFlywheel Technology

The WaterRower Walnut uses WaterRower’s signature WaterFlywheel resistance system, which is designed to recreate the feel of rowing through water.

Instead of relying on fixed resistance levels, the rower responds naturally to your effort. The harder and faster you row, the more resistance you create. Row more gently and resistance decreases.

This self-paced resistance makes the WaterRower Walnut suitable for a wide range of users and workout styles, including:

• Cardiovascular conditioning
• Full-body strength and endurance
• Interval training
• Low-impact exercise
• Athletic conditioning
• Functional fitness
• Recovery-focused workouts
• General wellness training

The resistance system allows users to control workout intensity naturally through stroke power and cadence.

Smooth, Low-Impact Rowing Motion

The WaterFlywheel uses a specially formed paddle designed to engage the water efficiently and reduce slippage.

Because there is no rigid mechanical resistance connection between the user and the moving water, the rowing motion feels smoother and more forgiving than many traditional mechanical rowers.

This design helps create a more fluid stroke with less jerking or jarring, which can make workouts more comfortable and encourage better rowing technique.

A smooth, uniform stroke also helps distribute effort across the major muscle groups involved in rowing, including the:

• Legs
• Glutes
• Core
• Back
• Shoulders
• Arms

S4 Performance Monitor

The WaterRower S4 Performance Monitor provides essential workout feedback to help users track progress and structure training sessions.

Depending on workout settings, users can monitor performance data and work toward specific training goals based on time, distance, stroke performance, and workout intensity.

The S4 monitor gives the WaterRower Walnut a clean, straightforward training interface while preserving the machine’s simple and elegant design.

Dual-Rail Frame Design

The WaterRower Walnut features a dual-rail frame, helping provide stable seat travel and smooth rowing motion.

With a maximum user weight of 700 lbs, the rower is built to accommodate a wide range of users while maintaining excellent frame stability.

The machine also supports a maximum inseam of approximately 37 inches / 94 cm.
